PINK LOTUS FLOWERS
The photographs in this section were taken over the past few years at an improbable location: a drainage ditch in the parking lot of a medical office building along Route 9 in Framingham, Mass.  Every year, around July 4th, these flowers emerge from the murky, brown water that collects in the ditch from several outflow pipes. The bloom usually last until Labor Day.  The ditch is home to an abundant number of Bullfrogs and is a popular feeding ground for Green Herons.
I used a variety of post-processing applications to prepare these images including Adobe Lightroom, Topaz Photo AI and On1.
