FLORIDA 2026
These photographs from Florida were taken during the Winter and Spring of 2026 from a variety of locations including the Celery Fields and Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, the Orlando Wetlands, Sanibel Island, Merrit Island, Myakka River State Park, and Cape Coral among others.
The photographs in this section include Crested Caracara, Sandhill Cranes, Osprey, a Limpkin, a Reddish Egret, a Purple Gallinule, Burrowing Owls,
a family of Mottled Ducks, Roseate Spoonbills, a pair of Red Shouldered hawks, and Great Horned Owls.
The photographs in this section were taken with an OM System 1 Mark ii Camera and an OM System 150-400mm lens with a built in teleconverter which has a maximum reach in full frame terms of 1,000mm at f/5.6. OM Systems is the successor to Olympus and has produced an outstanding series of cameras and lens that are ideally suited for wildlife and nature photography among other things.
